Having trained in New York City, Dr. Jesse Zisholtz Shaw brings his standard of excellence out of the “big city” and into Pembroke Pines, Hialeah, and Wellington, FL.
Dr. Jesse Shaw is Board-Certified and Fellowship Trained in Orthopedic Surgery. He has cared for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Yankees during spring Training. He was also the University of Tampa Women’s Soccer Physician during their national championship season in 2007.
Dr. Shaw specializes in ACL, knee ligament reconstruction and meniscal surgery, as well as complex shoulder injuries such as impingement, rotator cuff injury, and instability. He also treats patients for orthopedic conditions that are not sports related, such as arthritis, knee replacement, hip replacement, complex shoulder replacement, fractures and trauma injuries.
Dr. Shaw serves professional and amateur student-athletes, as well as recreational sports enthusiasts and regular patients who care to get the very best orthopedic treatments for the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, and back injuries.
Dr. Shaw earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. He performed his Internship and Residency at Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. Dr. Shaw then completed a Sports-Medicine Fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Temple Terrace, FL. He is Board Certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and currently seeing patients throughout our Wellington, Pembroke Pines, and Hialeah locations.
